We've prepared the following instructions to help you through the registration process. Please print them and keep them handy as you complete your registration. We also suggest that before you begin the registration process, you review carefully the choices you will need to make, particularly the preconvention programs, workshops (note there are six separate sessions) and Shabbat study luncheons and write down the numbers that correspond to your choices.
In order to avoid losing your information, only navigate forward using the “continue” button, and back by using the registration map. DO NOT USE THE FORWARD AND BACK BUTTONS ON YOUR INTERNET BROWSER.
Step One: What type of Registrant am I?
The majority of registrants will fall under “Regular Registration.”
If you do not meet the criteria for one of the special registration classes listed please select Regular Registration. The early bird discount is already factored into the fee.
If you are a high school student, please follow this link to register for the NFTY Leaders Assembly. If you are a full-time college undergraduate student, please follow this link to register for the KESHER@Biennial Student Delegation.
Step 2: Personal Information
This section is very straight forward…select your state and the congregation that you are a member of, and then fill in your personal contact information so that we know who you are. Your congregation’s eligibility will be confirmed before registration is processed.
Step 3: Functions
Take this opportunity to:
- Select the preconvention programs that you will be taking part in. (Optional)
- Select the tours that you want to take on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. (Optional)
- Select the special interest lunches and meetings that you will attend. (Optional)
- Select your workshops.
- Select the Shabbat meals that you will attend and indicate food selection.
When selecting your workshop and Shabbat study lunch choices you can click on the link labeled “click here” to see the full titles of the available workshops. Then just select the workshop you will attend from the drop down menu to the left of the link.
Step 4: Special Needs
Let us know if you have special dietary needs or if you need assistive devices and/or special seating. We will be happy to accommodate you to the best of our ability.
Step 5: Guest Registration
It is important that you register each guest separately. If you do not take this opportunity to register your guests you will have to do so over the phone by calling Robin Riback at 212-650-4180.
If you would like to purchase Shabbat dinners or Shabbat packages for guests, please indicate your guest's name and choice. (Please note: You will be charged for each guest Shabbat dinner or Shabbat package you select).
Shabbat Dinner includes Friday night services, dinner and song session. The cost is $95 for an adult guest, and $30 for a child guest (13 and under).
Shabbat Package includes all of the Friday night events as well as Shabbat study breakfast, morning services, Shabbat study luncheon, Shabbat afternoon programs, and the Saturday evening program. The cost is $175 for an adult guest, and $75 for a child guest (13 and under).
You may select tour packages and specialty lunches for the guest to take part in during the week and you may indicate their special needs, including dietary restrictions.
Step 6: Payment
Please review the summary of functions and meals selected before entering your payment information.
You will receive a confirmation of your registration after submitting payment and will be able to use that confirmation code to book your hotel accommodations for Biennial.
Step 7: Housing
You will be able to book your housing through CMR once you have registered and received your confirmation number. You can only receive the highly discounted hotel rates available to Biennial registrants by booking through CMR.
The Union and WRJ will be staying at the Marriott Hotel and Marina ($172 plus tax per night, single/double occupancy) and the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego ($179 plus tax per night, single/double occupancy). Both hotels are conveniently located in walking distance of the conference center and overlook the beautiful San Diego Bay.
